Alan Kehr has 40 years experience in the pipeline and reinforcing steel coatings industries including research and development of coatings, marketing, and technical service. He has been active in industry associations including NACE, ASTM, API CRSI and ISO. Alan earned his BS degree in Chemistry from the University of Nebraska and MBA from the University of Texas-Austin.
He holds patents in coating chemistry. He has authored articles appearing in many industry publications and has given numerous presentations and workshops around the world. He authored, Fusion-Bonded Epoxy (FBE): A Foundation for Pipeline Corrosion Protection, published by NACE International.
